The Van Zijl signature range of wines bears the proud heritage of the Van Zijl family & hope to leave a lasting impression. The diversity of the Wellington/Paarl Region vineyard and wine landscapes are regarded as a great asset, yielding great wines with pronounced but divergent character and styles. 

The area experiences temperatures that are fiercely hot in summer and extremely cold in winter due to the mountain ranges surrounding the valley. Above-average winter rainfall coupled with these climatic extremes creates a unique micro-climate in the Wellington vineyards, giving this wine its unique and sophisticated character. 

Here we have a lovely aromatic nose of ripe peaches and apricots, complimented by floral tones. On the palate it is smooth and creamy with tropical fruit flavours and a crisp finish. This is a truly delicious and surprizingly complex wine, interesting and safisfying.

Drink at any time, but particularly good with fish, Thai food and stir-fries.  Lovely on its own.
