An elegant and well-balanced gentle dry Pinot Grigio Rose blush. The Cortefresca Pinto Grigio Rose is one of our best selling wines and one that customers return to time and time again. Fruity and refreshing this Rose Blush combines a delicate blend of soft summer fruits and light acidity to produce a gentle dry Pinto Grigio blush. Enjoy this wine on its own or with spicy foods, salads or pasta dishes. Serve chilled, but not too cold so as to preserve the fruit.

If you are a fan of Rose, you will know it is a versatile wine. This blush is perfect for summer BBQ's and warmer weather, but equally a great companion to spicy foods all year round. Rose and Blush wines have become extremely popular in recent years as a result of this, and many excellent wines now come with a blush variant. This Rose is the sister to the excellent Cortafresca Pinot Grigio White, and comes from the same grape just in a blush. So if you like Pinot Grigio, we highly recommend giving this Pinot Grigio Rose a try.

We also stock the Cortefresca Merlot, so if you are a fan of this wine producer you should definitely consider giving it a try.

What is the difference between blush and rose?
Blush and rosé have become used interchangeably in the world of wine in recent times, however these is a difference. Rosé is traditionally made using a process of leaving the wine in contact with the red grape skins for a period of time, giving the wine its red tint. Blush has become a bit of a catch all term for pink wines, and can refer to the process of mixing red and white wine as well as those made using the rosé process. You will find the Cortefresca referred to as both a Pinot Grigio Rosé and a Pinot Grigio Blush, even by hardened wine critics. So don't worry too much about the terminology, so long as you enjoy the wine!
